January Mental Wellness Tip:  Exercise Snacks

‘Exercise snacking’ is a phrase used for bite-sized workouts that can be performed throughout the day.  There are many benefits to these short bursts of excercise throughout your day including cardiovascular health, muscle strength, metabolic efficiency, and mental health benefits.

Mental Health Benefits:  Exercise snacks also offer substantial psychological benefits. Engaging in physical activity, even briefly, stimulates the release of endorphins, neurotransmitters that produce feelings of happiness and euphoria. Additionally, the accomplishment of completing exercise snacks can bolster self-esteem and promote a sense of well-being.  (https://julielohre.com/exercise-snacks/)

Exercise Snacks:  Click for ideas and to track.  Make this a goal for your New Year to help improve your mental & physical well being.
