Ryle Launches Hope Squad
We are excited to announce that Ryle High School has launched Hope Squad, an evidence-based, peer-to-peer suicide prevention program. Hope Squad consists of members from grades 10–12, who were nominated by their peers for being trustworthy, kind, non-judgmental, and good listeners. They play a vital role in creating a culture of hope, connection, and support. While not counselors, Hope Squad members are trained to recognize warning signs, offer support, and connect students with trusted adults. Together, we are working to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and ensure every student feels seen, supported, and valued.
